Although the permanent contract is the norm in Luxembourg, companies are increasingly using the temporary contract. This one being strictly framed, it can only be used in certain circumstances, detailed below.

Definition

A temporary contract is a three-way relationship.  As such, are entered into simultaneously.

The first, the temporary worker’s contract, is between the temporary staff agency and the temporary worker, while the second, the employer’s contract, is between the temporary staff agency and the user company
