Description

  • Familiarize yourself with both IFRS and local GAAP requirements to ensure accurate financial reporting that complies with both sets of standards.
  • Establish strong partnerships with external service providers to ensure smooth operations and effective collaboration.
  • Monitor and optimize the Order-to-Cash process to maximize ancillary income for the group.
  • Deliver timely and insightful management reporting to help stakeholders make informed decisions.
  • Coordinate the preparation of annual statutory accounts and budgets to ensure compliance with local regulations and internal requirements.
  • Maintain Service Level Agreements with internal stakeholders to ensure their needs are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Document any unusual or significant transactions through accounting memos to provide transparency and clarity.
  • Collaborate closely with the Tax department to ensure all tax declarations and compliance activities are accurate and up to date.
  • Manage banking and treasury activities to optimize cash flow and financial stability.
  • Provide support for mergers, acquisitions, and integration processes to facilitate successful outcomes.
  • Support internal and external audit processes to ensure compliance and transparency.
  • Foster strong collaboration with other support departments at the European Support Center to leverage resources and expertise effectively.

Your profile

  • You have a strong background in accounting with significant experience in the Services or Retail sector. You have developed expertise in areas such as IFRS, local GAAP, US reporting tools, and Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance.
  • You also possess valuable skills in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel, and have been involved in CRM/ERP migration projects, acting as a key user/trainer during UAT phases. Your familiarity with JD Edwards and SAP S/4HANA is an additional asset.
  • Additionally, you have a willingness to travel occasionally, around 20% of the time, for meetings, training courses, and client interactions. Your proficiency in English, with knowledge of other languages as a bonus, enhances your ability to work effectively in diverse environments.
