Description

  • The Claims Officer is responsible for the correct, smooth and professional management of the
claims files assigned to him within the brokerage Private & Commercial Lines;
  • A good and harmonious cooperation is expected with the account manager and the
Insurance Advisor and this in a healthy team spirit;
  • Provide periodic and targeted feedback to colleague, account manager;
  • He gives the client sound and appropriate advice and makes concrete agreements;
  • At the request of his Manager, he can represent our client at important expert appraisals and assist the
customer;
  • Develop privileged contacts with insurers, experts, repairers,....;
  • Give ideas to manager to develop or be more efficient;
  • Put relevant colleague in copy of information;
  • Continuously seek, implement & communicate improvements of added
value, quality for the customer (Result: Customer satisfaction = customer loyalty);
  • Permanently seek efficiency gains in administrative processing of files;
  • Accurate and efficient processing of daily communication with the customers,
insurers and the Bank;
  • Proactive approach, follow-up of files;
  • Monitor and follow up correspondence with insurers;
  • Detecting problems in files and doing the necessary to anticipate them;
  • Monitor the quality of the files;
  • Daily processing of correspondence, e-mails (including assignment to the claim file in
Brio), telephones, etc.
  • Daily agenda management with the aim of avoiding red agenda items. Daily
processing of AS2 messages;
  • Respecting the Mifid guidelines;
  • Smooth financial settlement of files;
  • Correct processing of data and keeping our management system Brio+ up to date.

Your profile

  • University degree or Bachelor's degree or equivalent by experience and the motivation to
Continue learning in the insurance industry;
  • Thorough knowledge and experience within all branches BOAR companies and individuals;
  • Good knowledge of Dutch and French and basic knowledge of English;
  • Possession of the necessary insurance certificates imposed by the Mifid Legislation;
  • To uphold our client's values and culture, both internally and externally;
  • To be a specialist in his field and keep knowledge permanently up to date;
