Payroll Officer/Specialist

Description

  • Paying and processing salaries accurately and on time, together with the social secretariats;
  • Calculating tax advances and bonuses, and taking care of DmfA (multifunctional return), NSSO returns, sheet 325 and tax sheets (Belcotax);
  • Prepare monthly payroll statements and follow up after payroll;
  • Manage HR administration in the context of the "employee life cycle" (illness, work accidents, info sheets, termination) and insurance policies, sick leave, meal vouchers, etc;
  • Inform colleagues and assist them with questions about the social legislation of the countries in which we operate;
  • Provide support with the flexible income plan (cafeteria plan), which allows employees to put together their own compensation package;
  • Follow up on employees with special tax status;
  • Provide timely, complete and accurate reporting on payroll, staffing, employee turnover, sick leave and other KPIs for internal and external parties (works council, social balance sheet, etc.).

Your profile

  • You have a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent;
  • You have a working experience of at least 5 years in a similar position with payroll administration for white-collar workers;
  • You have relevant experience with international payroll management;
  • You have a thorough knowledge of social legislation;
  • Knowledge of and experience with flexible compensation linked to a cafeteria plan is an asset;
  • You have previous experience working with social secretariats (e.g. Attentia, ADP, Jobcode, Cintra, ....);
  • You have excellent communication skills, you are proactive in your work and you are a real problem solver;
  • You work accurately and discreetly and can handle deadlines;
  • You have a good knowledge of MS Office (Excel);
  • You can express yourself fluently in Dutch, French and English.
