For the Antwerp office of our client, we are looking for a Sales Director responsible for the proper functioning of the commercial team and the achievement of commercial objectives. Their customers operate nationally and internationally and are very often references in their fields.
Description
- You inspire, coach and manage the office's commercial team. You ensure good organization and optimize its operation
- You interact regularly with your team members so that they experience you as their commercial coach in the short term
- You set out the commercial policy of the office, in line with the commercial strategy of the company, through a thorough commercial plan. You have an eye for a strong diversification of commercial approaches.
- You translate the commercial policy into individual objectives and office objectives and follow these up
- Together with the Development team you ensure that knowledge, skills and personal development within your team get the necessary attention
- You provide clear reporting and help to optimize it
- You are aware of developments in the insurance (distribution) landscape and know how to respond to them.
Your profile
- Bachelor's or master's degree and have solid commercial experience in the insurance industry
- You have experience in people management
- You are entrepreneurial, proactive and result oriented
- You are a team player who values cooperation to achieve common goals
- You have strong leadership skills and know how to motivate and enthuse people
- You handle change smoothly
- You are perfectly Dutch-speaking, English and French are not unfamiliar to you.
