Our client is a Belgian top 10 insurance broker, specialized in risk consultancy for medium and large companies, with more than 300 employees. For the compliance role, they are looking for a master, preferably in law, with knowledge of and experience in IDD, AML and GDPR regulations as imposed by FSMA. The ideal candidate can work independently, likes structure, and is flexible to change. Duties include updating the compliance risk assessment, drafting a compliance plan, and providing internal training. Our client offers a hybrid work environment and advancement opportunities.

Description

  • You contribute to the updating of the compliance risk assessment
  • You prepare a forward-looking compliance plan and keep it up-to-date within the various areas of expertise: IDD, AML and GDPR
  • You draft and regularly update internal guidelines and procedures
  • You closely follow the provisions communicated by the FSMA
  • You work closely with colleagues in the Compliance team to ensure correct implementation of the compliance rules
  • You provide training to inform, raise awareness and train internal employees
  • You organize and perform periodic monitoring
  • In line with your interests and competencies, you will collaborate in the Legal team.

Your profile

  • Master's degree, preferably in law
  • You have extensive knowledge and experience of the IDD, AML and GDPR regulations, according to the provisions imposed by the FSMA supervisory authority
  • You recognize yourself perfectly in what we call 'intensely involved
  • You can structure a multitude of information
  • Working independently and conscientiously gives you energy
  • You deal smoothly with change, it is part of your DNA
  • You are perfectly Dutch-speaking, English is not foreign to you.
