Join our client as a Freelance Lawyer and put your legal skills to work for a dynamic company. As a key member of the legal team, you will advise various departments, draft commercial contracts, manage litigation and monitor legislative developments. You'll have the opportunity to help update internal policies and train employees on key legal issues. If you are registered with one of the Belgian bar associations, have a good pen and are willing to invest at least 3 half-days a week, apply now to join a collaborative and stimulating team.

Description

  • You advise the various departments on legal issues (contracts, labor law, taxation, etc.) to ensure legal compliance of activities.
  • You draft, revise and negotiate commercial contracts and other legal documents to minimize risks.
  • You manage litigation and represent the company in disputes and mediations.
  • You carry out legal research and monitor legislative developments relevant to the company.
  • You draw up and update internal policies, particularly in terms of compliance and ethics.
  • You train and inform employees on new legislation and key legal issues.

Your profile

  • You are a lawyer registered with one of the Belgian Bars.
  • You are willing to train in the technical subjects required.
  • You are articulate, have a good writing style and have the ambition to help consumers.
  • You are assertive, communicative, a team player and like to take the initiative.
  • You are willing to take at least 3 half-days off per week.
  • You are rigorous and methodical, able to manage several files simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • You have a good analytical mind and know how to interpret and apply laws and regulations effectively in the context of the files handled.
  • You are flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs of customers and the company.
