Description
- As a Complex Claims Adjuster, your primary responsibility will be managing the Casualty portfolio of claims from coverage inquiry through legal liability assessment and quantum analysis. You will aim for timely and accurate resolution while minimizing indemnity and expense exposure.
- You will collaborate with Team Lead or other adjusters to ensure effective vendor and litigation management on high-value complex claims.
- Communication is key in this role; you will report key claims messages to your Team Manager and internal stakeholders and act as a Casualty technical claims expert when needed.
- Your support will also be vital in continuous improvement efforts across the region, possibly assisting with Quality Assurance and Regional Audit processes.
- Consistent adherence to best practices for Casualty Complex claims, in line with global standards, is crucial.
- Additionally, you will handle Casualty claims within your authority limits, with an emphasis on timely, accurate, and customer-focused claim resolution while keeping indemnity exposure and expenses in check.
Your profile
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must
- Proficiency in Dutch, French, and English languages required
- Proficient in presenting information and possessing in-depth knowledge of case files
- Strong time management skills including workload prioritization and diary management
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting with all stakeholders
- Skilled in persuading and directing claims and non-claims stakeholders to align with claims strategy
- Proficiency in interpreting policy language for accurate policy understanding
- Advanced knowledge of legal, regulatory, and procedural requirements for the Casualty line of business
- Experience in implementing recommendations from technical claims audits for continuous improvement in file management.
