Description
- You analyze and process claims files from A to Z;
- You are responsible for the daily contact with customers and companies and provide them with the necessary information regarding the files;
- You manage the agenda of you and your team;
- You ensure that you (and your team) have the necessary information to guarantee correct management;
- You consult and use our management package (BRIO);
- You will establish damages and losses on site and with insured parties;
- You will gather evidence, testimonies and police reports from the parties involved (victims, witnesses, emergency services, etc.);
- You will check the guarantees and coverages of the insurance contracts following a claim notification;
- You will propose compensation to insured parties, adjust and settle if necessary;
- You will appoint experts to estimate damages and losses to vehicles, in medical, art, etc.
- You check the amounts of provisions per claim and adjust them according to the victim's situation and the severity of the damage;
- You estimate the amount of damage (physical, moral, economic,...) and prepare a follow-up report of the claim;
- You investigate the reason, cause and circumstances of the claim and determine the liability of the parties;
- You intervene in: industrial accidents, natural disasters, yards and buildings, fire, pollution, traffic accidents, accidents with physical damage, nuclear or chemical accidents and theft.
Your profile
- You get hot in the legal field and insurance policies are secretly interesting reading;
- You have a bachelor's degree in insurance or a bachelor's degree in a legal context;
- A first relevant work experience is always a good thing;
- Affinity with legal administration? Then you are the person we are looking for;
- You are not afraid of telephone contacts;
- You have a perfect command of Dutch (French to a limited extent);
- You adapt easily and you quickly get used to new tasks;
- You like to work independently and proactively, but at the same time you are a real team player;
- You are eager to learn and open to feedback from your colleagues;
- Accurate, organized and always have the right priorities;
- Keeping rules and agreements is not a problem for you;
- You are critical but constructive and can handle some stress;
