Are you an experienced Accountant with a passion for accounts receivable management and trade deal validation? Our client is looking for an Accountant and Deal confirmation & validation officer ready to delve into AR, daily bookings, accounts receivable management and trade deal confirmations. If you are fluent in English and French or Dutch and have at least 3 years of relevant experience, we offer an attractive salary, expense allowance, meal vouchers, ADV days and more. Description
- Management of accounts receivable (AR) and confirmation and validation of trade deals;
- Accounts receivable management:
- Daily entries (SAP, Coda, bank statements, currency transactions);
- Answering customer inquiries, updating customer data and exchange rates in SAP;
- Participation in monthly and annual closings;
- Managing factoring processes and projects within accounts receivable management;
- Preparing reports/dashboards and updating working procedures;
- Confirmation and validation of trade deals:
- Verification of transactions on EDFT and Efetnet platforms;
- Issuance of sales confirmations and validation of contracts in Aligne;
- Compliance with trading compliance rules;
- Required Competencies:
- Excellent communication skills;
- Accurate, organized, team player and solution oriented;
- Able to meet deadlines.
Your profile
- Diploma in accounting, economics or finance;
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position (preferred);
- In-depth technical knowledge of accounting, VAT and tax with a focus on accounts receivable management;
- Fluent in English and French, or Dutch;
- Experience with SAP FI/CO and ISU is a plus.
