- As a [Job Title] at Our client, you will be responsible for providing guidance to bankers and clients on various aspects such as personal taxation, residential real estate investment, wealth structuring, and legal matters.
- Your role will require you to have a deep understanding of Luxembourg and/or Belgian civil and tax law, focusing on direct tax, indirect tax, and cross-border issues.
- Working in a challenging environment, you will analyze multiple options, interpret them, and propose practical solutions while ensuring compliance with legal regulations and statutory provisions.
- You will actively participate in working groups as a subject matter expert for Wealth Management within the organization, constantly updating yourself on legal and tax news to keep clients and bankers informed of potential risks and opportunities.
- Drafting technical documents and maintaining reference materials will be part of your responsibilities.
- Sharing your knowledge and experience, conducting training sessions, and contributing to team projects will also be essential in this role.
- Building and nurturing relationships with external advisors and professionals will also be crucial.
Your profile
- Possess a Master's degree in Law specializing in civil law and indirect taxation, along with a strong understanding of international law.
- Demonstrated experience of 5 to 10 years in a relevant role within an audit/tax advisory firm, a law firm, or a financial institution.
- Proficiency in Luxembourgish or Dutch, French, and English languages (both spoken and written).
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to cultivate robust relationships with clients and colleagues to enhance your reputation as a subject matter expert.
