Description

  • You will manage daily operations, including accounting entries and financial documentation for monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings;
  • You will handle month-end closings, reconcile GL accounts, and monitor their evolution;
  • You will prepare journal entries, corrections, and adjustments for G/L closings and communicate them to superiors;
  • You will prepare annual accounts and management reports for multiple entities;
  • You will perform reconciliations, variance analysis, and trend assessments, ensuring accuracy and completeness;
  • You will document procedures and ensure all tasks are supported by appropriate information;
  • You will analyze discrepancies, provide recommendations, and lead or support projects within your scope;
  • You will improve and maintain G/L processes and internal controls while collaborating with finance and business teams.

Your profile

  • Strong accounting technical knowledge in BEGAAP and IFRS;
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment;
  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Proficiency in SAP FI/CO;
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel;
  • Fluency in French and/or Dutch, with a good command of English;
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a GL accounting department;
  • Experience preparing annual accounts in Accon;
  • Familiarity with Tagetik and/or the Asset module in SAP is a plus.
